2pac is the one who made hip hop a big thing. Of course, there are other rappers that we can say helped make hip hop great, but he is really the pioneer. I am really happy to have lived in a time when he was still alive. His music is not as good as the newer ones, but his music makes you feel things. The passion that he has, is just insanely strong, and you can really feel it as you listen.
